Julie graduated Cum Laude from Towson University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Education. Among her many accomplishments while at Towson, she was selected for the Jim Snyder Award for Outstanding Technical Achievement in Dance and received the Towson University Dance Department Award for Outstanding Choreographic Achievement. Following college, she went directly to New York City and auditioned for on and off Broadway Musicals and dance companies. During that time, Julie performed with several national theatres. Thereafter, Julie returned to Baltimore, MD and opened her own dance studio, Company Elite. She has since sold her interests in Company Elite and moved to Mullica Hill, NJ to be close to family and raise her children, Maria and Vincent. Julie has thoroughly enjoyed teaching at Jazz Unlimited and sharing her talents, education and experiences with future performing artists in Southern New Jersey.
